I am trying to locate where the Cane Creek Monthly Meeting (Quakers) were located. My wife had some Quaker ancesteral kinfolk that were connected with that group. I am sure they are in either Surry County or what is now Alamance Co, NC. These kinfolk were Hobsons or some related lines (Vestal, Hinshaw). What is the place like now? [I'm not that familiar with Quakers, even though our ancestors were Quakers.
