Someone posted a query and then had her/his computer block answers. What is the use of posting a query if you don't expect to receive an answer!!!! Spam or no spam. My program blocks spam. In fact, I have 20 messages currently in my spam *folder* awaiting deletion. This is what I wrote--but find it was useless to send it to the person who seemed to request information. Are you aware that there has been [may stilll be] a Cloud family newsletter? The woman who produced it--Janice [we call her Jan] Cloud is a member of the Santa Barbara Genealogical Society in California. Do a google.com search for *santa barbara california genealogical society* Write a letter to her--Jan Cloud--at that address and ask her some questions about Clouds. But it is better than you include some family group sheets. A well-known researcher, in Southern California, who used to take persons to Salt Lake City [me included] and to England and Ireland for genealogy search will not consult with people having genealogical questions unless they produce family group sheets. As you know, family group sheets ask [hopefully demand] DATES and PLACES. Most of the time I delete from rootsweb any queries which do not include Dates and Places. Otherwise, we are talking past one another. Good luck with your Cloud people. E.W.Wallace southern California ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
