If you are near a Family History Center with a microfilm reader, you can order films of two books of Luther Byrd from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. There is a small fee, and a limited loan period. To find out more information, go to _www.familysearch.org_ (http://www.familysearch.org) Find the link to the FHL catalog on the right side of the screen. Click on that. Then do an AUTHOR search - Byrd, Luther [lower case OK] Two of the books/booklets have been filmed by the FHL, and I am sure for a small fee, for a limited time, you can borrow them through your nearby LDS family history center. In fact, if the unfilmed book/booklet has NOT been filmed, you can get a form at your LDS center and ask that it be filmed. If the book is not too many pages, ask that it be microfiched. (Or click on FORMS - go to the list beginning with the letter R - Request for photocopy/film. (I hope that works.) If you hire a researcher in Salt Lake City, he/she MAY be able to make a CD of the filmed books--all this for a fee, of course. (The library there seems to keep up with current technology, although I have not been there in two or three years, alas!)
