I don't have a copy of any wills. You'll have to get those from the NC Archives in Raleigh. Here are some wills I found on the NC Archives website in their Mitchell Will Book Index. You have to send them an email (archives@ncmail.net) asking for copies of them to be mailed to you, usually for $2.00 I think is the minimum cost. And, they won't do but one request at a time, not a list: Title: Jessop, Caleb Years: 1833 Call Number: WB-B/472(AR) MARS Id: 246.75.2.975 (Item) Scope / Contents: Recorded Copy: WB-B/472 (WB = Will Book) Original: AR (Original will is in the North Carolina State Archives, Raleigh) Location where will was probated: Guilford County (NC) Index Terms: Geographic Names: Guilford County (NC) Personal Names: Jessop, Caleb Title: Jessop, Isaac Years: 1811 Call Number: WB-A/167 MARS Id: 229.75.2.518 (Item) Scope / Contents: Recorded Copy: WB-A/167 (WB = Will Book) Original: Location where will was probated: Cumberland County (NC) Index Terms: Geographic Names: Cumberland County (NC) Personal Names: Jessop, Isaac Title: Jessop, Priscilla Years: 1819 Call Number: WB-3/137(AR) MARS Id: 292.75.2.488 (Item) Scope / Contents: Recorded Copy: WB-3/137 (WB = Will Book) Original: AR (Original will is in the North Carolina State Archives, Raleigh) Location where will was probated: Surry County (NC) Index Terms: Geographic Names: Surry County (NC) Personal Names: Jessop, Priscilla Title: Jessop, Joseph Years: 1820 Call Number: WB-3/50(AR) MARS Id: 290.75.1.469 (Item) Scope / Contents: Recorded Copy: WB-3/50 (WB = Will Book) Original: AR (Original will is in the North Carolina State Archives, Raleigh) Location where will was probated: Stokes County (NC) Index Terms: Geographic Names: Stokes County (NC) Personal Names: Jessop, Joseph Title: Jessop, Joseph Years: 1796 Call Number: WB-3/22A(AR) MARS Id: 292.75.2.487 (Item) Scope / Contents: Recorded Copy: WB-3/22A (WB = Will Book) Original: AR (Original will is in the North Carolina State Archives, Raleigh) Location where will was probated: Surry County (NC) Index Terms: Geographic Names: Surry County (NC) Personal Names: Jessop, Joseph Title: Jessop, Thomas Years: 1819 Call Number: WB-F/15(AR) MARS Id: 277.75.1.464 (Item) Scope / Contents: Recorded Copy: WB-F/15 (WB = Will Book) Original: AR (Original will is in the North Carolina State Archives, Raleigh) Location where will was probated: Perquimans County (NC) Index Terms: Geographic Names: Perquimans County (NC) Personal Names: Jessop, Thomas Title: Jessop, Timothy Years: 1805 Call Number: WB-E/223(AR) MARS Id: 277.75.1.465 (Item) Scope / Contents: Recorded Copy: WB-E/223 (WB = Will Book) Original: AR (Original will is in the North Carolina State Archives, Raleigh) Location where will was probated: Perquimans County (NC) Index Terms: Geographic Names: Perquimans County (NC) Personal Names: Jessop, Timothy ----- Original Message ----- From: "RAYMOND SHIRLEY SR." <rshirley@icx.net> To: <ncsurry@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, November 08, 2007 12:14 AM Subject: Re: [NCSURRY] Quaker records > Thank you for your response.
