NC Add to that, the creek flows northeast across the Stokes Co. line and into the Dan River at the Stokes/Rockingham Co. line. Since this is a Surry Co. list, references to Belews Creek in Surry records are probably before 1789, when Stokes Co. was created from Surry. Forsyth was later formed from the southern part of Stokes, in 1849. >At 01:51 PM 11/4/2006 -0500, you wrote: >>Can anyone on the list give me a general location for Belews' Creek?
