Does anyone on the list have any info on Tamsey Bartley who died in 1937 and is buried at Roaring Gap Baptist church in Low Gap? Tamsey was apparently born in Surry County and lived with the Thomas N Dickens family until her death in 1937. I have not been able to trace her on the 1860, 1870,or 1880. Tamsey was born ca 1857, This is not the Tamsey Murphy who married Hickman Bartley. I have no idea if Bartley was a married name or her family name, I have not found a marriage for her as it.
