Well, I have tried this before.but lets go once again in the hopes newbies have joined.. I am looking for information on Plutine "Tien/Tina/Tina" L. Edwards. She is listed in the 1880 census in Alleghany County, NC, living with her mother, Elizabeth Stokes (widow) and brother Jerome "Rome" Edwards. She was about 10 at that time and Jerome would have been about 12. I believe that Elizabeth/Elisabeth would have been around 45 in 1880. Tien later married Henry Houston Crouse and moved to Wilkes County, NC. Her marriage license states that she was the daughter of Elisabeth and Stokes (deceased) Edwards. I have not been able to find any other records on Jerome/Rome, although my great aunts tell me that my great grandmother talked of her brother "Rome" often. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
