I am sorry - your Rachel does not fit into this particular William Williams family. William Williams was a long-time resident of Granville Co., NC and was a first cousin to Col. Richard Henderson of that same county. Henderson, of course, was the motivator behind Boonesborough. Anyway, apparently Williams became ill and wrote his will at Boonsborough Dec 1775 and died a few days later. The will however was probated in Granville Co., NC. Golly, I feel sorry for you if you are looking for a William Williams in Kentucky!!! Be sure you have some dates and some approximate places.
