Hello Listers, I am searching for my ever elusive Levi Collins. I do not know for sure where he was born, but I suspect Va or NC. Levi is my GGG Grandfather. He married Rhoda (Rhody) Money abt. 1849 in Surry County. John L. Holcomb was bondsman. When they married, Levi brought 2-3 children by his first wife. One of those children was Levi Jr. I believe Levi was first married to a Charity Swaim in Surry Co. about 1835. I have never found a birth place for him nor when or where he died? I have often wondered if he was a son of Obediah/Obadiah Collins? Any help at all on this man and his family is very much appreciated. Thank you, Yvonne in N.C.
