Would there be any one on the list that has access to Surry County Tax Lists? I am interested in a Ruth Webb and a William Webb of Surry County that were listed in 1782. William Webb b. 1748/49 was originally from Northumberland Co., VA. He came into Surry County sometime between 1783 and 1780 with an older brother John Webb b. 1747 and younger sister Sarah Webb-Wilkins b. 1751. I am researching John Webb in particular as I have strong evidence that he is my 4th G-Grandfather. I am curious as to what this Ruth Webb in 1782 was being taxed on and if she may tie into this group of Webb's in any way. Any help would be most appreciated. Regards, Bill Webb
