Dear Mary and list, I have a William Davis, b. 4 Sept. 1771 in NC. He married an Elizabeth Huff 12 Oct. 1797, NC. I have Wm.'s parents as a Thomas Davis Sr., b. 16/18 Jan. 1734, married Elizabeth Knox on 15 July 1758. He died Sept. 1789 in Montgomery Co.,Va. which is now Grayson Co.,Va.
