Someone ? takes Joseph Somewhere ? in North Carolina and raises him. He is bounded out either for his keep or the voyage. ( sure wish I could find him in these younger years.) His grand daughter, Virginia Whittaker marries a Professor Josephus Newton Davis in Mt.Airy, N.C. Also hope to find a Levi Canter and wife Rebecca James, and 2nd wife Sarah ? Other names I am searching are: Goodson, Jackson, Paulina Flinchum, wife of Henry B. Canter, Katie Davis, wife of James Canter, Phoebe Helt, wife of Calvin Whittaker, and Rachel Lewis, wife of Daniel Whittaker, and Miachel Brown, and daughter, Mary who marries John Helt.
