Hi, Thanks for replying. Yes, I am beginning to join list after list, after list. I am broadning my search this new year and hope to collect enough puzzle pieces to break down some brick walls. I have some odds and ends on New River Notes that Jeff Weaver was kind enough to put up for me.They are under miscellaneous files, it is quiet an odd collection, as I had just learned to copy and paste info from my tree maker. I will copy and paste some things to this list that may help me and maybe someone else. Question: Was there a way a ship could have sailed up the Roanoke River to Mt.Airy or only to Albemarle Sound?
