Last notice for the HARRISON reunion in Dobson on the 28th: What - HARRISON Descendants - Meet, Greet, and Eat Who - Descendants of Joseph Harrison and Mary Ann Gregory will meet for an initial family reunion in Surry County Where - Fisher River Park, 118 Hamby Road, Dobson, NC When - April 28, 2007, Time 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Food - Bring a covered dish of your choice Cost - Small donation will be taken from attendees to cover the cost of the shelter rental, paper plates, napkins, etc. History - Bring old pictures, family albums, artifacts, or other family treasures to share with one another. Irma and others have been to the family burial grounds off Long Hill Road just north of Pilot Mtn. Also, Andy Hennis completed a GPS location of the cemetery (including pictures) and the data is on Allen Dew's website at the address shown below: http://cemeterycensus.com/nc/surr/cem052.htm It is numbered 052 and is named Cox Cemetery since the land is owned by the Cox family now.
