OK, here's I found. Reference the marriage of Nancy REAVIS (age 33) to Oliver BRAY (age 62) on 2-10-1885, she was indeed the daughter of Joseph and Nancy REAVIS of Yadkin County as shown on the marriage certificate, Book C, page 410. Oliver's parents Atha BRAY and Polly are shown as dead but were residents of Surry. They were married at John WHITAKER's home in Marsh township. Witnesses were A. P. WHITAKER (Marsh township), John WHITAKER (Marsh township), and another one I can't read.. Married by T. F. ANTHONY, JP. Applying for the license with Oliver was H. L. MOSLEY.
