    1. [NCSURRY] Dutchman's Creek - Holeman
    2. Thanks so much for posting the information on Dutchman's Creek. The Isaac Holeman who lived on Dutchman's Creek is a brother of my Thomas Holeman who also moved to this area. Thomas's son Isaac enlisted in the Revolutionary War. Isaac's Revolutionary War pension application dated Oct. 19, 1832 states that he was born Feb. 15, 1752, Rowan Co., NC and enlisted in 1775 while living in Surry Co,. NC where he served approximately 3 years and then served approximately 16 months from SC. Susan Holman Dallas ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

    3. "The Isaac Holeman who lived on Dutchman's Creek is a brother of my Thomas Holeman who also moved to this area. " Somewhere on the web a while back, I found and saved a hand colored tintype (?) of Thomas Holman, at the time assigned to Co, C, 13th TN Infantry (Civil War). If anyone wants a jpg of it, contact me and be happy to send. I don't know where he fits in the Holman line(s). My research is on ROBERTS who came to NC from VA and then settled across the state line in Overton, Jackson, and Clay counties in Tennessee. There were marriages with Holmans, Pinchbacks, and Davises as they moved into/out of Surry and other counties in NC. Regards, Rick
