Does anyone have data on this family? I believe he may be brother to my ancestor Abraham Haynes/Hanes bca1780-1784, married Lucy Haynes bca1784, ca 1810, either Rowan or Surry co NC. They are on the 1810 census. Abraham had land in area of Rockford/Marsh, Surry Co..Fishers Creek/River. He sold 150 acres to "John Hanes" in 1813, witnessed by THOMAS HANES and JOHN REAVIS, prob brother or Uncle of Lucy. After years of searching, have still not located parents of Abraham. I believe it may be a Samuel Haynes/Hanes who was on the 1782 Surry co Tax list, and then disappears, though think may have found in Wilkes Co., after. Barbara Lucas
