I would like to add my WITT and HARBOR ancestors into this discussion in hopes that someone can make a connection and provide documentation. My ggggrandmother was Sarah Witt daughter of David Witt and Sarah Harbor. She had three documented children born in 1813 (Rockingham Co., NC), 1818 and 1823. My documentation only goes to this point. I have no information on Sarah Harbor's parents. David Witt was the son of John Witt III and Elizabeth. John Witt III was the son of John Witt, Jr. and Ann Rogers. John Witt, Jr. was the son of John Witt, Sr. and Ann Daux.
