Looking for any information on Elizabeth. What I know: I have a copy of an application for a License for a Marriage, between George Ransom and Elizabeth Short, dated 5th of March 1833. The application was signed by George Ransom and Thomas Dial. Have a copy of the 1850 Census for Stokes County, NC listing: George Ransom & Elizabeth with the following children; Regina, James, Mary, Martha and Isaac.
