Marceline Beem has created a new gravestone inscriptions database for NCGenWeb, similar to the marriage database she did earlier. We haven't announced this widely yet, because we want to be sure that it's functioning correctly. However, Marceline and I have decided to announce it to a few select e-mail lists that we happen to be involved with ourselves. If all goes well, we'll announce it statewide on Monday. Feel free to start entering data if you'd like, and definitely let us know if you encounter any problems (email link is provided on the main page). Although neither of us expects to be on-line 24 hours a day over the weekend <G>, we'll try to respond as quickly as we can.
