Hi Ruth, Did some searching on some online libraries I subscribe to. The following excerpt from the Hopkins book may give you a clue to your family. There was no George as a son of Jesse Corn mentioned. Hopkins of Virginia and Related Families Author: Walter Lee Hopkins Call Number: CS71.H794 This book contains the history of the Hopkins family of Virginia. The book outlines another Kentucky Corn family but none of your names appear except two of the Corns married Jacksons. It also said,"Authentic records of the Corn family date back to over a hundred years before the Revolution, as a will of William Corn, dated July 18, 1650, is listed in Volume I of Virginia Colonial Abstracts". Married Elizabeth Ladd about 1777, son John Ripley born 1778. Moved to Patrick Cty. about 1796, then to NC about 1808, then to Jackson Cty,Oh after 1810 where he died. These may give you some clues as to where to look and who to look for. I didn't copy the 1850 online Census because you said you had it. Good Luck, Jo in MN
