    3. I am following Lorain's lead on TREKE. Can't get her e-mail address to work. My TREKE (name handed down as oral family tradition) ancestors were in Montgomery Co., PA and possibly associated with the "Gemantown Protestants" of Germantown, now Philadelphia (city of), Philadelphia Co., PA. Am I on the right county list? You will find a substantial amount of records on these surnames in North Carolina, particularly in the Rowan County area. They all migrated from Pennsylvania. Your TREKE ancestors may be related, or they may have developed through another derivative.
