Is there anyone out there researching the Comer/Coomer family of Stokes County? My ancestor, Nancy Comer married Fredrick Gowen 10 December 1818. Belive she's descended from the family which migrated through Virginia into western Carolina. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
