Some of the records in Stokes, Surry, and Forsyth Cos. have this family as DOLL, DULL, and/or TULL. The DOLL/DULL name is German. The TULL surname is English, but the records have some of them mixed up and it's difficult to know which is correct and which is incorrect. My NICHOLAS and MARGARET DOLL/DULL have the following verified children: Mary Doll/Dull marr. John Huffines, Surry Co., 26 Mar 1800 Sarah Doll/Dull marr. Frederick Miller Susanna Doll/Dull marr. Peter Binkele Elizabeth Doll/Dull marr. Frederich Binkele George Doll/Dull marr. Catherine (unkmaiden) If there is anyone who is a descendant of any of the above children and can verify there are other children and who they are, I will appreciate it. I am compiling a family history that includes this DOLL/DULL line and am anxious to have the line as accurate as possible.
