Joseph Rooks in 1807 in Highland Co Ohio where the Jackson's ( Quakers) and others went. when they left Stokes or Surry Co N C.,( they were in both Co's), as well as Joseph but he wasn't a Quaker. I do have some Gen on the Jacksons. Some went to Delaware Co Ind and Randolph Co Ind from Ohio , and later on to Grundy Co Mo .. Part of Highland Co they lived in became Clinton Co abt 1812? What Jackson are you from of Samuel's? I am from a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Jackson Rooks,, name William who mar Mahala Smithson from Clinton Co Oh in Randolph Co Ind abt 1837 then went to Grundy Co Mo.
