I am looking for the father of Lewis M. Coffey who was born in Stokes Co NC in 1798, There is a James Coffey listed in the census of 1800 with a two year old boy in the house. All records i have on Lewis states he was born this year and place but nothing tells who his parents were. Any suggestions?? Thanks Shirley
