My Alamander Duncan was born 23 Dec 1766 and married Susannah Vaughn 14 Jan 1809 Stokes Co., NC. >From my personal family records of my grandparents Alamander was the Son of John & Dinah Bradford Duncan. But the listed children of John and Dinah does not show a son named Alamander. This is perplexing to me. The other Alamander born 1777 is the son of Joseph and Jimima Marr Duncan. This Alamander married Anne Francis. I am sure there is a connection for both of them somewhere, but just do not know what. My next question is which Alamander are you interested in and do you have information on Alamander's parents. Also you should belong to the "Duncan surname association" they have lots of information on the Duncan's. Let me know if you do not and I will provide you with the information. Next if you have the internet, there are some papers and letters of Landon Duncan's which can be down loaded. Some of these letters are to his cousin Alamander.
