I used to attend an Evangelical United Brethern church for many years when I was a child, and it mergeed with the Methodist Church. That was an association merger, probably in the 60's. The churches from this merger are now called the United Methodist churches. As I remember there were no changes at all to the services or the doctrine when the merger took place, so I think you can assume that Evangelical United Brethern has been very similiar to Methodist for many, many years.
