Hello, I must have deleted the post where someone said they were researching Petree. Although I am not researching them, I thought this might be of interest. My gr-aunt, Pearl Ulela Dawson, was born 1891 in Davie Co. She always told us that she was delivered by Dr. Aureleus Petree, a young widower staying at the home of her parents.
