I am so happy! Both a Wilkes and Stokes County list. Most of my family is from Wilkes, but I am also looking for my HUTCH(I,IN,ER)SON ancestry in Stokes County. Jacob HUTCHINSON is the son of William HUTCHERSON and Alice REYNOLDS of Stokes County. I am seeking any information on William and Alice. I match my gg grandfather Francis to the family of Jacob HUTCHINSON because Francis is listed as the male child of Jacob on a Wilkes County School Census....going to the same school as Emeline SEBASTIAN, his future wife. I have found Jacob's family on the 1850 Wilkes census, but my Francis is not listed. I found Francis and Emeline Elizabeth SEBASTIAN HUTCHISON on Wilkes Census of 1860. Francis died of pneumonia during the Civil War. By 1870 she is alone with her children, Martha, James Calloway and Marcus HUTCHI(N)SON. Thanks for this new list, Marlene Myers-Josephsohn
