"Ruben Sell" born 1804 Married July 1289 in Stokes Co (Marriage Bond & Caleb Johnson was bondsman) was he related? or just good friends. Catherine Bodenhamer born in Rowan Co. Daughter of George and Barbara Weir Bodenhamer. 1st son, Caleb Riley born Dec 1829 Davidson Co. 2nd son Jacob born Winston-Salem Area 1836 Ruben got a land grant in Stokes Co. (property over in Kernersville area next to Jonathan Sell Sr property) by 1837-38 the Ruben Sell family moved to Birmingham, Illinois Schuyler Co. More children born there. Ruben died Nov 9, 1854. burried in Round Prarie cemetery just out of town of Birmingham, Illinois. Catherine moved to Mt. Sterling, IA with youngest son Barnabus and wife and daughters She is burried there in cemetery just out of town. There are a lot of Sells living in Stokes Co, but so far we cannot link to them, except through the Bodenhamers. Jonathan Sell Sr was the Quaker Sell. Could he be Ruben's Grandfather?
