Searching for information on William Brook of Beaver Island District, Stokes Co., NC census of 1790. William was b/ abt 1790. He sold land on Beaver Island Creek in Stokes Co., NC on Jan 4, 1814, to John Heath. He also sold land at that time to his son William Jr. It is thought he moved to Franklin Co., Indiana after Jan. 1814. Humphrey Brook also sold land on the Beaver Island Creek and Snow Creek on Sept 30, 1813. Humphrey bought land in Jefferson Co., Indiana in 1816.
