There is a website that lists deportees to America after Culloden. It is entitled "Scottish Prisoners Transported to America in the Aftermath of Collonden 1747". I have had a considerable amount of difficulty in accessing it again but was finally able to do so by ending my entry at 5327. The website is: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Parthenon/5327/shiplists/scotimmi.html It lists the date, the passenger, remarks, the port of arrival, which for my possible ancestor was Port North Potomack MD. The information was taken from the National Genealogical Society Quarterly Vol. 64 (176). There is another website: http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Parthenon/5327/shiplists/sources.htm that refers to a book by Peter Wilson Coldham, "Scottish Rebels Transported to Maryland 1747." Hope this helps. I found it very helpful to look at the other passengers who were on the same ship or arrived at the same port at the same approximate time.
