Dear Doug, I saw your e mail and wondered if you might be able to help me with figuring out the background of Sarah Jane Graham who married Doshee Aldridge Messer in 1858 in Harnett/Cumberland CoNC. On earlier census sheets she was listed with Sarah Graham -Smith , Anne Graham Smith and Catherine Graham Smith and sometimes they were just Smiths. Do you have any ideas or is this in any way related to your line?
