C. (1754) and on to Montgomery Co., N. C.? Their descendents (my line) went to GA. abt. 1820 or so. I'm ASSUMING (not shouting just emphasizing) that they might have come up the Cape Fear River to Fayettesville (Cross Creek) and then down the Cross Creek - Pee Dee Road. There was a Cochan working in the land Office in Wilmington about 1750ish.
