I would appreciate assistance in locating a copy of "Bellingrath and Allied Families: A Genealogical Study with Biographical Notes" which was compiled and privately printed for Mrs. T. L. Bellingrath by the American Historical Company, Inc., New York, 1949. This genealogical study focuses on the SMITH, GRAHAM, McNEILL, McKAY, BELLINGRATH and WILSON families of North Carolina and Alabama. Also can anyone tell me about the American Historical Company of New York? Was this a genealogy for hire research firm? If so does anyone know the quality of their work? When were they in business?
