Seeking information on James or James B. FERGUSON of Cumberland County, NC. Both men would have been born between 1775 and 1794. In 1817 one of these men was probably married to Sally MALLOY, daughter of Duncan MALLOY. Both are listed in the 1820 census of Cumberland Co., NC with three children each under the age of ten. James FERGUSON'S wife was born between 1775 and 1794 while James B. FERGUSON'S wife was born between 1794 and 1804. Other FERGUSON heads of household in the 1820 Cumberland Co., NC census included Daniel and John but I believe they were too old to be the husband of Sally Malloy. Thanks for any help offered.
