PURPOSE OF SOCIETY: The Society was incorporated 12 April 1992 as a nonprofit organization to promote study, research, and publication, concerning ancestry and heritage of North Carolina's Scottish Settlers. EDITORIAL POLICY: Emphasis is placed upon information pertaining to Scottish Settlers of North Carolina, their ancestors and descendants. Welcomed are family histories and manuscripts, published and unpublished articles and books. News of family and church reunions and Scottish events are solicited. Please site your sources.
