Have several Jesse Beans Jesse Bean born ca 1804 Rowan or Granville County NC died 11 Nov 1842 Graves County KY married Leah Gallemore 1929 probably in Rowan County: children William A., Evaline, Alexander Asbury, Celia Ann, Jesse Darnell. Jesse Darnell Bean was born 3 Mar 1843 Graves Co KY, died 21 Jan 1874. Another Jesse Bean married Barbara __?__ probably in Moore County NC, He died near Carthage, buried in a small cemetery near Carthage, Moore, NC, no marker: children Jesse Wyatt, John, Alexander W., Mary E. Captain Jesse Bean of Watauga Valley TN (very little about him because he is probably not part of my line). Jesse Lindsay Bean, son of John Bean and Rachel Wyatt, born 15 Mar 1839 Panther Creek, Backusburg, Calloway, KY married Mary Riley, died Paducah KY: children Maude L., Henry Huston, John Wesley, Rhoda Ann, George, Jake L., Rachel, Hiram. The Jesse Bean who married Barbara is a key to unraveling a mystery in my line. He had a brother William who died in his home in Carthage, Moore County NC in 1829. This brother William supposedly married Celia Wyatt but there is a lot of confusion about him. He is often confused with several William Beans who may or may not be related. I do not believe William Bean and Celia Wyatt had 23 children as many "authorities" claim and I can pretty much prove that he didn't. I am trying to find out if the William Bean who died in Carthage, Moore County NC is really the one who married Celia Wyatt. Any help appreciated, willing to share what I have.
