Hi All: I would like to find out more about my MACTAGGART & DUNN ancestors in North Carolina. Can anyone identify with the following? Donald MacTaggart (statistics unknown) married Margaret (?). Their daughter, Margaret "Maggie" MacTaggart b. Glasgow Scotland, July 4, 1844, m. Thomas Dunn (date unknown) probably in or near Egypt (Cumnock), Chatham Co., NC. Thomas Dunn, b. about 1844 in PA. Family moved from PA to NC about 1852. Thomas' parents were Robert and Margaret (Wilson) Dunn of Nova Scotia. If any of this seems like a match to what you are researching, I'd love to hear from you.
