Greetings list members. A simple apology for the posting that went out as an urgent message from our address this past weekend about the supposed health problems of a young girl named Amanda. The posting was forwarded to our home address by a well - meaning young lady of my son's acquaintance, and he, also meaning well, forwarded it on to all of the addresses on our nicknames list. What my son did not realize is that this message is not true, from all I have been able to determine, but is a hoax like a lot of other similar messages that get forwarded around the web. For those of you who responded with compassion and offers of prayer -- thank you for being the kind souls you are. For those who responded patiently indicating that it was a hoax -- thank you for your patience in dealing with something that is "off topic" and please accept my assurance that my son won't be blindly forwarding messages in the future.
