Hi, I am looking for info about my husband's ancestors from the Cape Fear area. His gr-grandmother was Jennette Isabella (Jennie Belle) Drake, the dau. of John Drake and Sophia Atkins , m- 1827, Cumberland Co.,moved to Haywood Co. TN. Sophia was the dau. of James Atkins and Isabella McNeill, m- 1803. I believe Ica Atkins was the father of James and need proof. Isabella McNeill was the dau. of Malcolm McNeill & Janet McAlister m- 1771. Malcolm was the son of Archibald McNeill and Jennie Bahn Smith McNeill. Janet McAlister was the dau. of Alexander McAlister Sr.( Col) and wife Flora McNeill . Flora McNeill was the dau. of Neill McNeill and Grissella Campbell. Am interested in any info about the above.
