1)In the will of James JAMES, written 1790, proved 1796, he mentions a daughter Elizabeth. 2)The will of Joseph JAMES, written 1781, proved early 1782, mentions wife Elizabeth and leaves son Elias one shilling sterling. Son Charles is executor and chief beneficiary. 3) The lands of Thomas JAMES were divided 1809 among a Grizzy JAMES, a Tempor-- JAMES and an Eliza JAMES. I am trying to isolate the Eliza JAMES who was was shown as head of household, living next door to Samuel WEST, in Duplin Co. 1800. This Eliza was alive in Duplin 1817. She had a daughter Celia ROGERS and a daughter named Temporance. Can anyone help sort out these Eliza JAMES women? Thanks for any help. fran fpowellsr@starpower.net
