Court Minutes 1817 Whereas Hester WEST has been delivered of a bastard child and hath refused to declare who is the father thereof, Augustin JONES came before the Court in behalf of said Hester WEST and gave his bond to indemnify the Parish of St. Gabriel from maintenance of said bastard child.
