Listmembers, I have read that Reverend Isaac W. WEST of both Duplin and Sampson Counties, NC, performed a marriage ceremony. Does that mean he was an ordained minister? Where might I find information on his religious persuasion and when/where he was ordained? To set a time frame, Isaac was born Duplin Co. about 1817. I have no record of his death date.
