Alex , her > husband (See deed listing in 1816 above) > Hi Samspon Listmembers, I believe the above Alexander Wilson is identified with some entries on an Alexander Wilson in New Hanover County, NC. N. H. Court records Dec 1798: Appointed Timothy Wilson guardian of his children Mary, Elizabeth, Alexander, Precilla, Martha, Jane, and Sarah Wilson; Henry Hoskins and John Bloodworth, security. It is believed that the above Mary Wilson was one of the spouses of Daniel Alderman. Alexander Wilson married Mary Portevent, dau of Isaac Portevent. Deed Book R, page 218 -1820 - Alex. Wilson and Mary Wilson his wife-in division of estate of Issac Portevent...was drawn by Mary Wilson, wife of Alex. Wilson - one of the heirs of Isaac Portevent. Deed Book R, Page 219, New Hanover County, NC - 10 Feb 1821 - Enoch Herring produced a deed of conveyance of land to him from Alexander Wilson and wife Mary. Said land lying in New Hanover County. After the death of Alexander Wilson, Mary Wilson became the fourth wife of Daniel Alderman. Can anyone provide any further Wilson information that relates to these families? Steve Pearsall
