Is there anyone out there who can look up the marriage of Jesse E. Waters and Lettie Williams in Sampson County in the year 1884? I wrote the county, but they said they did not have the records for that year, so I wrote the archives in Raleigh and they said they have a microfilm copy of the marriage register but do not have the original volumes. They said I should contact the Register of Deeds, which I did, as the original records usually remain with the county. Any help appreciated and thank you. Billie
