Can anyone correct this info for me, or is it right. The area that Newton Grove Township was a part of the Albermarle Precinct in 1705. It became a part of Craven Precinct in 1712 and remained in that district until New Hanover was created out of the Craven Precinct in 1729. A quarter of a century before the War of Independence, the area became a part of Duplin, and remained that way for 34 years until in 1784 it became the Sampson Co. Is this correct or have a left any steps or years out? Thanks, Donna
