Listmembers, in Sampson Co., NC, 1832, Elias GAINEY/GANEY gave his power of attorney to Willis WEST. The power of attorney was given to Willis so that Willis could sue or collect debts owed to Elias by Reddy GAINEY/GANEY and other heirs of Abraham GAINEY. I am hoping a GAINEY researcher will be able to provide further information on the family relationships cited above as well as the debts owed to Elias. How was Abraham GAINEY related to Elias?
