Nancy born 30 Oct. 1871 in Sampson Co., died 18 Jan 1929 in Westbrook township, buried ( Hooppeal Church) this maybe be near the Thornton Cem. east of Newton Grove. James and Nancy children: 1. Clarance Richard born 2 Nov. 1895 Sampson Co. married Sallie Izsabell Hill on 16 April 1916, he died 10 Nov. 1948 and both are buried at Sanders Chaple in Smithfield. 2. Herbert born 21 Sept. 1897 died Sept. 1916 or 29 Oct. 1914 3. Hurbert born 21 Sept. 1897died Dec. 1897 ( twin to 2 ) 4.
